King Charles III
Born: 1948
When his mother Queen Elizabeth II passed away, Charles ascended to the throne.
On July 29, 1981, the future Princess of Wales—Lady Diana Spencer—married the then-Prince of Wales. William and Harry, the couple's two sons, were born. They later divorced in 1996 after their separation. The princess died in an automobile accident on August 31, 1997, in Paris.
On April 9, 2005, he wed Camilla Parker Bowles. As requested by Queen Elizabeth II, she assumed the title of Queen Consort when Charles became King. She was crowned as queen and is now known as Camilla.
Line of succession
1. William, Prince of Wales
Born: 1982
The current heir apparent is Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales.
His mother died when he was 15 years old. He continued his education at St Andrews University, where he met Kate Middleton, his future wife. In 2011, the couple tied the knot.
He was made a Counsellor of State on his 21st birthday, serving as the Queen's representative on important occasions. The couple's first child, George, was born in July 2013, followed by Charlotte in 2015 and Louis in 2018.
Prior to serving three years as an RAF search-and-rescue pilot with RAF Valley on Anglesey, north Wales, the prince completed training with the Army, Royal Navy, and RAF. Alongside his royal duties, he also worked two years as a part-time co-pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. In July 2017, he stepped down from the position to focus on additional royal responsibilities for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
William is now the Prince of Wales and has inherited his father's Duchy of Cornwall. The Princess of Wales is now Catherine.
His principal responsibilities as the successor to the throne are to assist the King in carrying out his regal duties.
2. Prince George of Wales
Born: 2013
Prince George of Wales was born on July 22, 2013, in London's St. Mary's Hospital. The birth of his son, who weighed 8lb 6oz (3.8kg), was witnessed by his father.
After his father, Prince George is next in line for the crown.
3. Princess Charlotte of Wales
Born: 2015
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, Catherine, Princess of Wales' second child, was born on May 2, 2015, once more at St Mary's Hospital. William was present when the 8lb 3oz (3.7kg) baby was born.
Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Wales is third in line to the throne, following her father and older brother.
4. Prince Louis of Wales
Born: 2018
On April 23, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in London, the new Princess of Wales gave birth to her third child, a boy weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
Fourth in line to the throne Louis Arthur Charles was born in the presence of William.
5. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex
Born: 1984
Prince Harry completed his training at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst before joining the Army as a lieutenant and helicopter pilot.
Capt Wales, as he came to be known, served on active duty in Afghanistan twice during his ten years in the military, from 2012 to 2013, as a co-pilot and gunner on an Apache helicopter. He retired from the Army in 2015 and currently concentrates on philanthropic work, including as organizing the Invictus Games for wounded service personnel and conservation in Africa.
Since turning 21, he has served as a Counsellor of State, acting as the Queen's representative in official capacities.
On May 19, 2018, he wed American actress Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle. The royal couple announced in January 2020 that they will step down and split their time between the UK and North America as "senior" royals. They stated that their goal was to "work toward financial independence."
A little more than a year later, Buckingham Palace declared the pair will renounce their honorary military postings and royal patronages, as well as their plans to resume royal duties.
6. Prince Archie of Sussex

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the first child of the Sussexes, was born on May 6, 2019, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and the duke was there.
Since Archie was not the monarch's grandson, he was not born a prince by default. But when King Charles came to the throne, he officially became entitled to such title. When they are older, Harry and Meghan reportedly want their kids to choose whether or not to use their titles.7.
7. Princess Lilibet of Sussex
Born: 2021 The second child of the Duchess of Sussex was born on June 4, 2021, in Santa Barbara, California. Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, also known as Lili, is her 11th great-grandchild and is named after the Queen's pet name in the Royal Family.
Her middle name, Diana, was chosen in memory of Prince Harry's mother, who passed away in a car accident in 1997 when he was just 12 years old. She was granted permission to use the royal title, just like her brother, after her grandpa was crowned king.
8. The Duke of York
Born: 1960
The third child of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew was ninth in line to the throne and the first child to be born to a reigning monarch in 103 years.
When he wed Sarah Ferguson, afterwards the Duchess of York, in 1986, he was made the Duke of York. Beatrice and Eugenie, their daughters, were born in 1988 and 1990, respectively. The separation of the duke and duchess was announced in March 1992. They split up in 1996.
The Duke participated actively in the 1982 Falklands War during his 22 years of service in the Royal Navy. In addition to his royal duties, he worked for the government until 2011 as a special trade representative.
concerning his friendship with US businessman Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide while awaiting trial on allegations of sex trafficking and conspiracy, Prince Andrew resigned from his position as a member of the British royal family in 2019.
He made no admission of guilt and had always rejected the charges, but in February he agreed to pay an undisclosed amount to resolve a civil sexual assault action launched against him in the US by one of Epstein's victims.
9. Princess Beatrice
Born: 1988
The eldest child of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, is Princess Beatrice. Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York is her full title. She goes by the name York but does not have a formal last name.
In July 2020, she wed real estate magnate Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Windsor's Royal Lodge's Royal Chapel of All Saints. Coronavirus postponed the couple's May wedding, which they had originally planned to have.
10. Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi
Born: 2021
The Queen's 12th great-grandchild, Sienna Elizabeth, who is the 10th in line to the throne, was born to Princess Beatrice in September 2021. Christopher Woolf, also known as Wolfie, the son of Mr. Mapelli Mozzi from a prior relationship with Dara Huang, has Princess Beatrice as his stepmother.
11. Princess Eugenie
Born: 1990
The youngest child of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, is Princess Eugenie. She is the 11th in line to the throne and is officially known as Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York.
She uses York instead of having an official last name, like her sister Princess Beatrice. On October 12, 2018, she wed her longtime partner Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle.

13. The Duke of Edinburgh

Nearly two years after the passing of his father, Prince Philip, who had held the title before, Prince Edward was given the title of Duke of Edinburgh on his 59th birthday. Although it was clear that Philip had preferred Edward to assume the throne, King Charles made the final decision.
Sophie, the wife of Prince Edward, takes on the title of Duchess of Edinburgh, and James, the prince's son, is now Viscount Severn in place of the prince's former title of Earl of Wessex. Lady Louise, the couple's daughter, was born in 2003.
After serving in the Royal Marines for a brief time, the prince established his own TV production firm. Later, he assisted the Queen with her official tasks and participated in charity events in public. He is heir apparent number thirteen.

16. The Princess Royal
Born: 1950
The Queen's only daughter and second child is Anne, Princess Royal. She was third in line for the throne when she was born, but she is now sixteenth. In June 1987, she received the title Princess Royal.
Peter and Zara's father, Captain Mark Phillips, is the first of Princess Anne's two husbands, while Vice-Admiral Timothy Laurence is the second.
Following her marriage to Capt. Phillips, the princess became the first royal to use the surname Mountbatten-Windsor in a legal document, the marriage record. At the 1976 Montreal Olympics, she represented Great Britain in equestrian competitions. She is also active in a variety of organisations, notably Save the Children, where she has served as president since 1970.
17. Peter Phillips
Born: 1977
The Queen's oldest grandchild is Peter Phillips. Two daughters, Savannah (born in 2010) and Isla (born in 2012), were born to him and Canadian Autumn Kelly after they wed in 2008.
Due to their female ancestry, the Princess Royal's children do not inherit any royal titles. Their children lack courtesy titles because Mark Phillips turned down the offer of an earldom when they got married.
In February 2020, Peter Phillips and his wife made the announcement that they were divorcing.
18. Savannah Phillips

The Queen's first great-grandchild, Savannah, was born in 2010 and is the eldest daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips.
19. Isla Phillips

The second child of Peter and Autumn Phillips, Isla was born in 2012.
20. Zara Tindall
Born: 1981
With an extremely successful riding career that included an Olympic silver medal at the London 2012 Games, Zara Tindall followed in the footsteps of her parents. Her first child, Mia Grace, was born in 2014 after she wed former England rugby player Mike Tindall in 2011.
The Princess Royal is still 20th in line to the throne, but her offspring do not hold royal titles as they are descended from the female line. They lack courtesy titles since their father, Mark Phillips, declined an earldom when he wed Princess Anne.

The second child of the pair was delivered on June 18, 2018, at the Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire, weighing 9 lbs 3 oz.
